Thank you for shopping with Anime Hair. This Shipping Policy explains how production timelines, processing timelines, shipping timelines, delivery estimates, and carrier responsibilities work for all Anime Hair orders.
Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Production Timeline vs. Shipping Timeline
Anime Hair products are custom-made, hand-colored, and/or made-to-order according to each client’s selected order details.
Because of this, production time is separate from shipping time.
This means:
Production timeline is the time needed to create, color, prepare, inspect, and package your custom Anime Hair design.
Shipping timeline is the time it takes for the shipping carrier to deliver your package after the order has been completed and shipped.
Shipping time does not begin when the order is placed. Shipping time begins only after production is complete and the package has been handed to the shipping carrier.
For example, if a product has a production timeline of 15–21 business days and the client selects 1–3 business day shipping, the 1–3 business day shipping estimate begins after the 15–21 business day production timeline has been completed.
2. Custom Production Timeline
Most Anime Hair designs require production before shipment. Production may include:
- Raw human hair sourcing
- Wig construction
- Lace preparation
- Custom color work
- Hand-dyeing
- Toning
- Styling preparation
- Quality control
- Packaging
- Final inspection
Production timelines vary depending on the design, length, lace type, color complexity, order volume, and hair availability.
Estimated production timelines may be listed on the product page, at checkout, or in your order confirmation. These timelines are estimates and may vary.
3. Made-to-Order & Preorder Items
Many Anime Hair designs are made-to-order or preorder items. These items are not ready for immediate shipment.
By purchasing a made-to-order or preorder item, the client understands that the item must be created before it can ship.
Preorder and made-to-order timelines may be affected by:
- Raw hair availability
- Long-length hair sourcing
- Custom color work
- Lace type availability
- High order volume
- Supplier delays
- Quality control requirements
- Holiday delays
- Weather delays
- Production corrections
Please do not place a custom or preorder order if you are unable to wait for the listed or estimated production timeline.
4. Business Days
Production and shipping timelines are calculated in business days, unless otherwise stated.
Business days typically do not include:
- Saturdays
- Sundays
- Federal holidays
- Carrier holidays
- Severe weather closure days
- Days when shipping carriers are not operating
For example, a 15-business-day production timeline does not mean 15 calendar days. Weekends and holidays are not counted.
5. Shipping Time Begins After Production
Selecting an expedited shipping method does not speed up the production timeline.
Expedited shipping only affects the carrier delivery speed after the item has completed production and is ready to ship.
For example:
If you select express shipping, your order will still need to complete production first. Once your order is finished and shipped, the express shipping timeline begins.
Anime Hair does not guarantee that expedited shipping will make a custom order arrive by a specific date unless this has been confirmed in writing by our team.
6. Order Processing
After an order is placed, Anime Hair may review the order details before production begins. This may include confirming:
- Selected color
- Wig length
- Lace type
- Wig construction
- Cap details
- Shipping address
- Payment status
- Custom notes
- Any special requests
If we need clarification from the client, production may be paused until we receive a response.
Failure to respond to order questions may delay the production timeline.
7. Shipping Methods
Anime Hair may offer standard, priority, express, or international shipping options depending on destination and availability.
Available shipping methods may appear at checkout.
Shipping carriers may include, but are not limited to:
- USPS
- UPS
- DHL
- FedEx
- Other available shipping partners
Anime Hair reserves the right to select or change the shipping carrier when necessary to complete delivery.
8. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location, shipping method, package weight, package size, and carrier rates.
Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, unpaid customs fees, or failed delivery attempts, the client may be responsible for additional shipping costs.
9. Delivery Estimates
Delivery estimates are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed unless the shipping service specifically includes a guaranteed delivery commitment from the carrier.
Anime Hair is not responsible for carrier delays after the package has been shipped.
Carrier delays may occur due to:
- Weather
- Holidays
- High shipping volume
- Customs inspections
- Incorrect addresses
- Carrier routing issues
- Missed scans
- Local delivery delays
- Natural disasters
- Events outside our control
A carrier delay does not qualify an order for cancellation, refund, or return.
10. Tracking Information
Once your order ships, tracking information may be sent to the email address or phone number provided at checkout.
Please allow time for the carrier to scan and update the tracking number.
Tracking updates are controlled by the shipping carrier. Anime Hair cannot force a carrier to scan a package or update tracking more quickly.
If tracking does not update immediately, this does not necessarily mean the package has not shipped.
11. Incorrect Shipping Address
Clients are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.
Anime Hair is not responsible for packages shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address provided by the client.
Please carefully review:
- Full name
- Street address
- Apartment, suite, or unit number
- City
- State or province
- ZIP or postal code
- Country
- Phone number
- Email address
If you notice an address error, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after an order is placed, especially once the package has shipped.
If a package is delivered to the address entered at checkout, Anime Hair is not responsible for replacing or refunding the order.
12. Lost, Stolen, or Delivered Packages
Once a package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, Anime Hair considers the package delivered.
Anime Hair is not responsible for lost, stolen, or missing packages that are marked delivered by the carrier.
If your package is marked delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend:
- Checking around your delivery area
- Asking neighbors, apartment offices, mailrooms, or front desks
- Contacting the shipping carrier directly
- Filing a missing package claim with the carrier
Anime Hair may assist with providing tracking information, but the final delivery investigation must be handled by the shipping carrier.
13. Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
You must provide:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the damaged packaging
- Clear photos of the product
- Clear photos of the shipping label
- A description of the issue
Please keep all original packaging until the issue is reviewed. The shipping carrier may require packaging photos for a claim.
Damage reported after 48 hours may not be eligible for review.
14. International Shipping
Anime Hair may offer international shipping to select locations.
International delivery timelines vary by country, carrier, customs processing, and local delivery service.
International shipping may take longer than domestic shipping due to customs inspections, import processing, and local delivery procedures.
Anime Hair is not responsible for international shipping delays caused by customs, government agencies, local postal services, or import restrictions.
15. Customs, Duties & Import Fees
International clients are responsible for all customs fees, import duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and any other charges required by their country.
These fees are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless clearly stated.
Anime Hair cannot control customs charges and cannot predict the exact amount that may be due.
Refusing to pay customs fees, refusing delivery, or failing to claim a package does not qualify the order for a refund.
If a package is returned to Anime Hair due to unpaid customs fees, refusal of delivery, or failure to claim the package, the client may be responsible for additional shipping costs.
16. Refused or Returned Packages
If a package is refused, returned to sender, unclaimed, or undeliverable due to client error, the client may be responsible for:
- Original shipping fees
- Return shipping fees
- Reshipment fees
- Carrier fees
- Any customs or import-related charges
Custom-made products are not eligible for refund simply because a package was refused, unclaimed, or returned by the carrier.
Anime Hair will review returned packages on a case-by-case basis.
17. Event Dates & Urgent Orders
If you need your order for a specific event, please contact Anime Hair before placing your order.
We do not guarantee delivery by a specific event date unless confirmed in writing by our team.
Clients are responsible for ordering early enough to allow time for:
- Production
- Quality control
- Shipping
- Carrier delays
- Styling
- Installation
- Any needed adjustments
Anime Hair is not responsible for missed events, appointments, photoshoots, pageants, conventions, birthdays, travel dates, or other deadlines if the order was not confirmed in writing as guaranteed for that date.
18. Rush or Expedited Requests
Rush production may be available on select orders at Anime Hair’s discretion.
Rush production is not guaranteed and must be approved before it is considered active.
Paying for expedited shipping does not mean rush production has been approved.
Rush production, if accepted, only affects the production timeline. Expedited shipping only affects the carrier delivery timeline after shipment.
19. Quality Control Before Shipping
Every Anime Hair design is reviewed before shipment. Quality control may include checking:
- Color
- Lace
- Construction
- Length
- Texture
- Styling condition
- Packaging
- Overall presentation
If an item requires additional correction before shipping, the production timeline may be extended.
Anime Hair reserves the right to delay shipment if additional quality control is needed to complete the product properly.
20. Partial Shipments
If an order contains multiple items, Anime Hair may ship items together or separately depending on production status and availability.
If partial shipments are used, tracking information may be provided for each shipment.
Additional shipping fees may apply depending on the order and shipping method.
21. Shipping Restrictions
Anime Hair reserves the right to refuse shipping to certain locations due to carrier limitations, legal restrictions, fraud concerns, or delivery risk.
If we are unable to ship to your location, we may contact you to discuss available options.
22. Weather, Holidays & Unexpected Delays
Production and shipping may be affected by events outside Anime Hair’s control.
This may include:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Carrier delays
- Supplier delays
- Customs delays
- Holidays
- High order volume
- Technical issues
- Labor disruptions
- Government restrictions
Anime Hair is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
23. Final Sale Shipping Notice
Because Anime Hair products are custom-made and final sale, shipping delays do not automatically qualify an order for refund, cancellation, return, or exchange.
Once production has started, materials have been reserved, or custom work has begun, the order remains subject to our final sale policy.

- Production time is separate from shipping time.
- Shipping time begins only after production is complete.
- Custom orders are not immediately ready to ship unless stated otherwise.
- Expedited shipping does not speed up custom production.
- Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
- Anime Hair is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, incorrect addresses, or delivered packages that are lost or stolen after delivery.
- Custom-made orders remain final sale and are not eligible for refund, cancellation, return, or exchange due to shipping or production timing.
